Makes: 6 Servings
Ingredients:
1 lb Ground Turkey (80ish% lean)
1 Can Spiced Pinto Beans
1 Can Pinto Beans
1 Can Great Northern Beans
1 Can Black Beans
2 Cans Chili Ready Tomatoes
12 Ounces Dark Lager OR 12 Ounces Tomato Puree
2-3 Tablespoons Buttermilk Ranch Powder
2-3 Tablespoons Chili Powder
Salt
Optional for one pot meal:
224 Grams Macaroni
1-2 Cups Water
Tools:
1 Can Opener
1 Large Spoon
1 Large Pot with Lid
Directions:
Saute ground turkey over medium to medium high heat for 5-10 minutes – until fonde develops on the bottom of the pot. Add all of the ingredients except those under optional for one pot meal. Stir well. Transfer to slow cooker once fonde is incorporated into the dish or turn heat down to a simmer (medium to medium low heat) and put lid on pot. Let simmer for 2 hours.
If making one pot meal add macaroni and extra water. Let simmer/boil for 20 minutes or until pasta is cooked.
